Located on the first floor of the McAuley building, our 8,600 sq. ft. fitness center offers strength training, cardio, and functional fitness equipment. The Fitness Center is popular with local employees of Johns Hopkins, building tenants and residents of the local community. We offer monthly memberships as well as single visit guest passes.
Our strength equipment includes circuit training machines, free weights, kettlebells, dumbbells, benches and a squat rack. The cardio equipment includes treadmills, ellipticals, recumbent bikes, seated bikes, rowers and steppers. We also offer several pieces of functional equipment including cable machines, TRX straps, stability balls, medicine balls, bosu balls, bands, etc.
The second floor of the facility houses a volleyball/basketball court which can also be used for games and group fitness classes. This floor also houses our cycling studio which offers spin classes on Tuesday and Friday mornings. In addition, we have a padded walking track located on a mezzanine above the gym.
The Fitness Center has locker rooms for men and women. Each locker room has a sauna and fully stocked showers including towel service.
Group exercise classes are offered on weekday mornings, afternoons and evenings. Volleyball is offered Tuesday evenings and basketball is Monday, Wednesday, and Friday afternoon. We have a staff of certified Personal Trainers available for private or small group training sessions.
